The 2019 CAE Conference will illustrate how and where engineering simulation, already pervasive in design and production processes and in the use of products themselves, is inextricably linked to the other Industry 4.0 technologies. One could even say that Engineering Simulation’s role is central to Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. This year’s CAE Conference will illustrate how engineering simulation can be used in different productive contexts to orchestrate a successful and considered path towards effective digital transformation.
The objective of this session is twofold: to highlight the relevance of the challenge and demand-led approach inherent to a Horizon 2020 project; and to describe the innovations that have been included in the new European Innovation Council Pilot 2019-2020.
The Research Agorà is the area dedicated to international Research Projects inside the International CAE Conference and Exhibition. It’s a full exhibition square located in the heart of the event where enterprise and university researchers disseminate the concepts and the results of their projects. Already in its seventh edition, the Research Agorà hosts many innovative international projects every year, especially those co-funded by the EU and developed through outstanding and prestigious partnerships.
